- Cocaine addiction
- Crack addiction
- Opiate addiction
- Painkiller addiction
- Marijuana addiction
- Prescription drug abuse
Our experience and expertise set Advanced Health apart from many other drug treatment programs. We pride ourselves on treatment programs tailored to your specific needs.
While many addictions share certain characteristics, each substance – and each client – carries a unique set of challenges. Counselors at Advanced Health are perfectly poised to help you tackle those challenges, get well, and develop the tools you will need to achieve long-term recovery.
The accredited staff at Advanced Health understands that there is no “one size fits all” treatment program. As one of the preferred drug and alcohol treatment programs in NJ, we have secured our solid reputation with our extensive knowledge of what makes every addiction different, as well as the common bonds they all share. No two people, stories, or conditions are exactly the same. We take the necessary steps to understand you – not just your addiction.
Inpatient Drug Treatment Programs
While Advanced Health does not offer inpatient or residential drug treatment programs, we can refer you or your loved one to an inpatient program if a more in-depth level of care is required. An inpatient treatment program offers 24-hour care and support. With round-the-clock supervision, clients with full-blown addictions stand a better chance at making a successful recovery.
One of the major advantages to a residential treatment program is the high level of care provided to clients. During the critical early stages of recovery, clients attending inpatient drug treatment programs are:
- Offered the opportunity to focus solely on their recovery
- Shielded from the distractions of the outside world
- Relieved from the burdens of temptation present in day-to-day life

Outpatient Drug Treatment Programs
Advanced Health offers outpatient treatment programs. The main advantage to outpatient treatment programs is that they gives clients the opportunity to attend regular therapy sessions while maintaining the more significant aspects of “regular” life (like attending work, school, and living at home).
Advanced Health offers two types of outpatient treatment programs, intensive outpatient treatment programs, and non-intensive outpatient therapy.
Our Intensive Outpatient Programs (“IOP”) include:
- Nine hours of treatment/therapy each week
- Clients come in for a three-hour session, three times per week
- Depending upon clinical recommendations and insurance arrangements, IOP may last up to 16 weeks
Following IOP, or if a less intensive program is clinically recommend, clients may participate in non-intensive outpatient therapy, which includes:
- Four hours of treatment/therapy per week
- Clients come in for a two-hour session, twice per week

Aftercare Following Drug Treatment Programs
After clients complete a treatment program, we carefully coordinate aftercare programs for them with our extensive network of addiction specialists across the United States. We identify appropriate aftercare programs near our clients’ homes and work with them to develop and implement strategies to prevent relapse into active addiction.
Ongoing Monitoring Following Drug Treatment Programs
Outcome studies reveal that clients who participate in ongoing monitoring after treatment programs have the greatest chance of maintaining abstinence. These services may be mandatory for certain healthcare professionals, pilots, transportation workers, and other employees.
Ongoing monitoring provides an added incentive and a much-needed boost in relapse prevention. We believe these services should be incorporated into an aftercare plan for our clients who have completed a treatment program and who are serious about recovering. We offer these services through our Alumni Association and case managers with whom we have relationships.
