EATONTOWN, NJ Oct. 30, 2020 / — Advanced Health and Education, a leading behavioral health and addiction treatment facility in New Jersey, is pleased to share that its team has signed signed the Monmouth County Stigma-Free Initiative, a countywide program that aims to reduce the stigmas associated with mental illness and substance use disorders.
The Monmouth County Stigma-Free Initiative is dedicated to raising awareness of mental illness and substance use as medical disorders, while creating a culture wherein residents feel supported by their community and free to seek treatment without fear of stigma.
As a dedicated member of the Monmouth County community, Advanced Health and Education signed the pledge to raise awareness for mental health and substance use disorders within New Jersey and to express support for reducing stigma throughout the region.

More than 20 nonprofit organizations and partners joined Advanced Health and Education in signing the pledge.
